ViniSyndicate Catalog Integration System™ to be Supplier and User Interface for ePurchasing Portal

Vinimaya, the leading provider of next generation SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) Solutions for Indirect and MRO eProcurement, today announced the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center has selected the ViniSyndicate Catalog Integration SystemÔ. ViniSyndicate will provide the supplier enablement capabilities and e-catalog user interface to UPMC’s organization-wide PeopleSoft Enterprise eProcurement implementation.

ViniSyndicate Catalog Integration System, which is based on Vinimaya’s patent-pending Intelligent Agent Search (IAS)™ platform, allows users, working from their e-procurement system, to search, browse and create shopping carts directly from their suppliers’ web sites and online catalogs. Unlike competing solutions, ViniSyndicate does not require complex and time-consuming XML punchout and thus dramatically increases buyer access to high quality, supplier-maintained online catalogs. This approach also removes the buyer’s dependence on the supplier’s IT department as well as their own. ViniSyndicate also reduces the size and maintenance requirements of buyer-managed or third party-hosted catalogs, concurrently lowering costs and speeding up catalog enablement. Additionally, ViniSyndicate’s single portal user interface addresses one of the most significant eProcurement challenges – user adoption – by providing users with functionality like cross-supplier (e.g., federated) search, item and price compare and multi-supplier saved carts, all of which cannot be supported by XML punchout.
In addition to PeopleSoft Enterprise eProcurement, ViniSyndicate is compatible with all leading e-procurement systems such as Ariba Buyer, Oracle iProcurement and SAP EBP among others.
Vinimaya solutions can either be licensed as software or accessed as an OnDemand Service for a low, fixed annual fee.
