Gary Hare - President and Chief Executive Officer
Gary Hare is Vinimaya's President and CEO. Prior to Vinimaya, he co-founded TPN Register along with Orville Bailey. At TPN Register, Gary served as Vice President of Products and Strategy. In addition to overseeing all product development and operation of the TPN Marketplace, the world's first Internet-based supplier network dedicated to MRO and indirect eProcurement, he was responsible for overall strategic direction and business development efforts. TPN Register was acquired by Global Exchange Services in February 2001.
Prior to TPN Register, Gary spent nine years at General Electric Company, holding various senior positions. He was directly involved in many of GE's early eCommerce efforts, most notably in the areas of procurement, supply chain management and strategic sourcing. Before GE, Gary was an information technology consultant and software engineer in the brokerage industry, holding positions at Keane Inc., ADP and Bunker-Ramo Information Systems.
Gary holds a US Patent entitled, “Full Service Secure Electronic Marketplace.” He is a frequent featured speaker at industry conferences, and has been the subject of articles in leading business and trade publications such as Fortune, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Business Week and Information Week.
Gary is also co-founder and Vice Chairman of OneWay Inc., which operates onewaylimo.com, a discount limousine services marketplace, and currently serves as both an advisor and director to various companies.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Southern Connecticut State University.
Orville Bailey - Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Orville Bailey is Vinimaya's Executive Vice President of Business Development, responsible for developing major accounts and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Vinimaya, he was an independent consultant. He was also founder and CEO of B2E Markets, a strategic sourcing solutions provider. B2E Markets was acquired by VerticalNet in 2004.
In 1997, Orville co-founded TPN Register (with Gary Hare) and served as the company’s President. Prior to TPN Register, Orville held various executive positions at GE and led many of GE's early eCommerce efforts, most notably in the areas of procurement, supply chain management and strategic sourcing.
Orville is a frequent featured speaker at top industry conferences, and has been the subject of articles in leading business and trade publications such as Fortune, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Business Week and Information Week.
Orville also founded and serves as Chairman of CustomPartNet Inc., which operates www.custompartnet.com, a product design, cost estimation and sourcing site, and also serves as both and advisor and director to companies.
Orville received a BSME from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he serves as a trustee, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
Robert Packnick - Senior Vice President of Operations
Robert Packnick is Vinimaya's Senior Vice President of Operations and directs the implementation, operation and support of Vinimaya solutions for both clients and partners. Prior to joining Vinimaya, he was Director of Client Services at TPN Register, overseeing multiple, large-scale, Fortune 500 B2B eCommerce implementation projects. Rob has more than 12 years’ corporate level management experience with companies including Borders Group, Cosi Inc., and Automated Business Systems in the areas of Procurement, Finance, Facilities, Consulting and Systems Application Development.
Rob received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University and a Masters of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan State University.
Senthil Vadivel - Vice President of Product Development
Senthil is Vinimaya's Vice President of Product Development, responsible for all software architecture and engineering activities in the U.S. and India. Prior to joining Vinimaya, Senthil worked as a senior platform architect for Vinimaya's Offshore Partner Ascendum Systems Ltd. in Bangalore, India. Before Ascendum, he was a senior programmer at TradAction India.
An expert in J2EE and object-oriented programming, Senthil holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Masters Degree in Computer Applications, both from Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, India.
Richard Waugh - Vice President, Channels
Richard Waugh is Vice President of Channels, focused on developing strategic channel partnerships for Vinimaya. Richard has an extensive background in eProcurement, having participated in the launch of several businesses and covered the space as an Analyst.
Richard began his career with GE and was involved with the growth of e-Commerce from the earliest days of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) with GE’s Information Services. He was part of the GE team, along with Gary and Orville, that launched TPN Register, the world's first Internet-based supplier network dedicated to MRO and indirect eProcurement. He co-founded B2eMarkets along with Orville, leading Global Sales and Business Development for the strategic sourcing solutions provider acquired by VerticalNet in 2004, and led channels and strategic accounts for VerticalNet, acquired in 2008 by BravoSolution.
Richard also spent time with the Aberdeen Group as VP of Supply Management Research. He has published numerous market studies and white papers on Procurement Best practices and has been a frequent conference and webinar speaker on topics covering all aspects of the Procurement process.
Richard received a BA from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC and is a graduate of GE’s esteemed Financial Management Program (FMP).
Venkat Krishnan - Director of India Operations
Venkat is Vinimaya's Director of India Operations, managing Vinimaya's Offshore Development Center in Bangalore India. Prior to joining Vinimaya, he was senior technology manager at Ascendum Systems Ltd. Venkat is an original member of the development team that created Vinimaya's patent-pending SmartSearch Catalog Integration System, and is an expert in Java and object oriented programming.
Venkat received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Software Systems, both from BITS, Pilani, India.
